Allium senescens montanum (Mountain Garlic)
Allium senescens montanum, commonly known as Mountain Garlic, is a species of perennial herbaceous plant in the onion family. It forms clumps of grass-like leaves that grow up to 8-12 inches tall. The narrow, lily-like leaves are grey-green in color and emit a strong garlic scent when crushed. In late summer, it produces spherical clusters of pink to lavender flowers on tall stalks.
