Anisacanthus thurberi, commonly known as Desert Honeysuckle or Justicia, is a shrub native to the arid regions of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It features vibrant red or orange tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The plant has gray-green leaves and tends to be a slow-grower. It is drought-tolerant and adapts well to desert landscapes.
