Berberis triacanthopora (Threespine Barberry)

Berberis triacanthopora, commonly known as Threespine Barberry, is an evergreen shrub that is native to eastern Asia. It is characterized by its thorny branches and green foliage. The plant typically grows to a height of 5 to 6 feet and has a spread of about 5 to 6 feet as well. Threespine Barberry produces small yellow flowers in the spring, followed by red berries in the fall.
