Betula tianschanica (Tianan/Tian-shan Birch)

Betula tianschanica, commonly known as Tianan Birch or Tian-shan Birch, is a beautiful tree known for its exfoliating bark. The bark peels off in thin, papery strips, revealing a range of colors from creamy white to shades of tan and reddish-brown. This gives the tree an attractive textured appearance. Tianan Birch can reach a height of up to 36 feet and has a moderate width.
