Bouteloua curtipendula (Sideoats Grama grass)
Bouteloua curtipendula, commonly known as Sideoats Grama grass, is a native warm-season grass that is highly valued for its attractive appearance and ability to provide food and habitat for wildlife. It forms clumps of narrow, blue-green leaves that arch gracefully and produce tall, spike-like seedheads that hang from one side. The seedheads are reddish-purple in color and persist into the winter months.
