Caesalpinia cacalaco (Cascalote, Bird of Paradise)

Caesalpinia cacalaco, commonly known as Cascalote or Bird of Paradise, is a tropical evergreen shrub or small tree with attractive foliage and vibrant flowers. The leaves are compound, alternate, and pinnate, with each leaf having multiple leaflets. The flowers are large and showy, with red and orange petals and long stamens that resemble the crest of a bird, hence the common name 'Bird of Paradise'. This plant can grow up to 20 feet in height and width.
