Calamagrostis brachytricha 'Achnatherum' (Feather Reed Grass)

Calamagrostis brachytricha 'Achnatherum', commonly known as Feather Reed Grass, is a clump-forming ornamental grass that adds height and texture to garden borders. It has upright stems that can reach a height of about 4-6 feet, topped with feathery plumes in late summer to early fall. The plumes start off a subtle pinkish gray color and gradually turn into a rich golden tan. The foliage is dark green and arching, adding a graceful touch to the plant.
