Calyptronoma occidentalis, commonly known as the Jamaica Long Thatch Palm, is a palm tree native to Jamaica. It has a slender trunk and pinnate fronds with long, arching leaflets. This palm species is known for its thatch-like foliage, hence the name 'Long Thatch Palm'. It can reach a height of approximately 30 feet and has a spread of around 10 feet.
