Carex aquatilis (Water Sedge grass)

Carex aquatilis is a stout, pale, wet grass commonly known as Water Sedge. It is a perennial plant that grows in wet habitats, such as bogs, marshes, and alongside streams. This coarse grass forms dense clumps and has long, narrow leaves. It produces inconspicuous flowers in the spring and summer.
