Carex deweyanna, also known as Dewey Sedge, is a grass-like plant commonly found in wetland areas. It forms dense tufts of narrow, dark green leaves that grow up to 2 feet in height. This sedge produces inconspicuous flowers and is often used in wetland restoration projects or as a groundcover in moist areas. It provides excellent erosion control and habitat for wildlife.
