Carex frankii (Frand's Sedge grass)

Carex frankii, commonly known as Frand's Sedge grass, is a perennial sedge native to North America. It forms dense tufts of arching, narrow leaves that are green in color. In early summer, it produces inconspicuous flowers that are followed by small, dark brown seedheads. This plant is known for its ability to thrive in moist to wet soil conditions, making it a great choice for rain gardens or areas with poor drainage. Frand's Sedge grass typically grows to a height of 12-18 inches (30-45 cm) and has a spread of about 12 inches (30 cm).
