The Saguaro Cactus, scientifically known as Carnegiea gigantea, is a large columnar cactus native to the Sonoran Desert. It is an iconic symbol of the American Southwest, known for its tall, branching arms and ribbed green stems. The Saguaro Cactus can reach heights of up to 40 feet and can live for over 100 years. It blooms with beautiful white flowers in the late spring and produces red, edible fruits in the summer.
