Carpinus henryiana (Chinese/Oriental Hornbeam)

Carpinus henryiana, commonly known as Chinese or Oriental Hornbeam, is a deciduous tree that belongs to the Betulaceae family. It is native to China, where it is commonly found in mountainous regions. The tree is characterized by its dense, ovate-shaped foliage which turn from green to yellow in the fall, producing a spectacular show of autumn colors. It grows up to 30 feet in height and spreads 20 feet wide.
