Cassia marilandica (Wild Senna)

Cassia marilandica, commonly known as Wild Senna, is a perennial plant native to eastern North America. It features bright yellow flowers that bloom in late summer and early fall, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The plant has pinnately compound leaves and produces long, black seed pods. It is often found in wet meadows, prairies, and along streams.
