It is a cultivar of Cedrus atlantica, native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Algeria. The blue-green needles provide a striking contrast and create a cascading effect. Blue Atlas Cedar is a slow-growing tree, reaching a height of 30-40 feet with a spread of 15-20 feet.
