Ceiba speciosa (Pink Kapok)

Ceiba speciosa, commonly known as Pink Kapok or Floss Silk Tree, is a large deciduous tree native to South America. It is known for its stunning pink flowers that bloom in the spring and summer, attracting birds and butterflies. The tree has a spiny trunk and branches covered in thorns, and its leaves are palmate with several leaflets. The Pink Kapok can reach a height of up to 60 feet and a width of 30 feet.
