Celtis juliana (Julian Hackberry)

Celtis juliana, commonly known as Julian Hackberry, is a deciduous tree native to Asia and North America. It has a dense, rounded crown and can grow up to 30 feet in height. The leaves are ovate to lanceolate, with serrated edges and a glossy green color. In the fall, the leaves turn a vibrant yellow. The tree produces small, round, edible fruits that ripen to a dark purple color.
