Curl-leaf Mountain Mahogany, scientifically known as Cercocarpus ledifolius, is a small evergreen shrub native to the western United States. It has dense, leathery, curling leaves that give it its distinctive appearance. The plant produces clusters of small, inconspicuous flowers in spring, which later develop into feathery, silver-gray seed heads. Curl-leaf Mountain Mahogany is drought-tolerant and adapts well to various soil types.
