The Peanut Cactus, scientifically known as Chamaecereus (Echinopsis) cham., is a small globular cactus that forms clumps, reaching up to 6 inches in height and 8 inches in diameter. It has numerous cylindrical stems covered in small spines, giving it a fuzzy appearance. The cactus produces bright pink or orange flowers in the summer months. It is commonly found in rocky areas of Bolivia and Argentina.
