Chamaecyparis lawsoniana, commonly known as Lawson Cedar, Port Orford Cedar, or Oregon Cedar, is an evergreen tree native to the Pacific Northwest of North America. It has a pyramidal shape and feathery, scale-like foliage that is typically bluish-green. This species is known for its aromatic wood and is often used in construction and for making furniture. It can reach heights of 100 feet or more in its natural habitat.
