Chasmatophyllum pernsyi (Yellow Mountain/Swallowtail Mesemb)

Chasmatophyllum pernsyi, commonly known as Yellow Mountain or Swallowtail Mesemb, is a succulent plant native to South Africa. It has fleshy, gray-green leaves that form a rosette shape and are covered in fine hairs. The leaves have a unique swallowtail shape, with a narrow base that widens towards the tip. In the summer, it produces clusters of yellow flowers atop tall stalks.
