Cordia goeldiana, commonly known as Freijo or South American Walnut, is a tropical tree native to the Amazon rainforest of South America. It is a large deciduous tree with a spreading canopy and attractive glossy green leaves. The tree produces small white flowers and small yellow fruit that are enjoyed by local wildlife. Freijo trees grow to a height of about 60-80 feet and have a spread of 40-50 feet.
