Coronilla varia (Crown Vetch)

Coronilla varia, commonly known as Crown Vetch, is a spreading perennial plant with delicate pink and white flowers. It belongs to the pea family (Fabaceae) and is native to Europe and Asia. This plant is often used for erosion control and as a ground cover in sunny areas with poor soil. It has a low, spreading growth habit and can reach a height of 12 inches with a width of 18 inches. Crown Vetch is hardy in zones 4-9.
