Corylopsis glabrencens (Fragrant Winterhazel)

Corylopsis glabrencens, commonly known as Fragrant Winterhazel, is a deciduous shrub native to China. It is known for its fragrant yellow flowers which bloom in late winter or early spring before the leaves emerge. The shrub has an upright habit with arching branches and ovate green leaves. It grows to a height of around 10 feet and a width of approximately the same.
