Corypha utan/Corypha elata (Gebang/Cabbage Palm)

Corypha utan, commonly known as Gebang, or Corypha elata, commonly known as Cabbage Palm, is a type of palm tree native to Southeast Asia. It is a tall, single-stemmed palm that can reach heights of up to 25 meters. The grayish-brown trunk is slender and smooth, while the leaves are large, fan-shaped, and deeply segmented. The tree produces large inflorescences with small flowers that are followed by oval fruits.
