Cryptomeria japonica 'Ryoku-Gyokyu' (Mound Cedar)

Cryptomeria japonica 'Ryoku-Gyokyu', commonly known as Mound Cedar, is a compact evergreen conifer with a dense, rounded form. It features soft, needle-like foliage that emerges bright green in spring, matures to dark green in summer, and takes on a bronze tint in winter. This cultivar is known for its low, mounding habit which makes it an excellent choice for rock gardens, borders, or as a focal point in small gardens. It is a slow-growing plant that can reach a maximum height and width of approximately 16 inches.
