Cupressus duclouxiana (Chinese/Yunnan/Ducloux Cypress)

The Cupressus duclouxiana, also known as Chinese, Yunnan, or Ducloux Cypress, is a coniferous evergreen tree that belongs to the cypress family. It has a dense, pyramidal shape with horizontal branches that are adorned with scale-like leaves. The leaves are dark reddish-green in color and emit a pleasant fragrance when crushed. This tree makes an excellent addition to any landscape as a specimen tree or as a privacy screen due to its dense growth habit. It is moderately tall and can reach heights of up to 40-60 feet with a spread of 20-30 feet.
