Ehretia anacua, commonly known as Sandpaper, Borage, Sugarberry, or Knockaway, is a species of flowering plant in the family Boraginaceae. It is native to South Texas and Northeastern Mexico. This small to medium-sized deciduous tree has glossy green leaves with a rough, sandpapery texture. The tree produces small, white, tubular flowers in the spring, followed by small, sweet, berry-like fruit. It can reach a height of up to 30 feet (9 meters) and a width of up to 20 feet (6 meters).
