Elaeagnus pungens 'Webb's Little Leaf' (Thorny Elaegnus)
Thorny Elaegnus (Elaeagnus pungens 'Webb's Little Leaf') is a dense, evergreen shrub with small, leathery leaves that are silvery green on top and silver beneath. This cultivar is known for its thorny branches which make it an excellent choice for creating a natural privacy screen or barrier. It produces fragrant, bell-shaped, creamy yellow flowers in the fall and small, reddish-brown fruit that birds enjoy. Thorny Elaegnus is drought-tolerant and adapts well to a variety of growing conditions.
