Encelia frutescens (Green Brittlebush)

Encelia frutescens, commonly known as Green Brittlebush, is a perennial evergreen shrub native to the desert regions of southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has slender, grayish-green leaves and produces bright yellow daisy-like flowers that bloom from spring through summer. The plant is known for its fragrant leaves which exude a resinous smell when crushed. Green Brittlebush can reach a height of 3-6 feet and has a spread of about 4-6 feet.
