Erianthus giganteus, commonly known as Sugarcane Plumegrass, is a tall perennial grass that forms dense clumps of upright, arching foliage. This grass is native to eastern and southeastern Asia, and is often grown for its ornamental value. It features slender, lance-shaped leaves with a silver-gray color, which gracefully sway in the breeze. In late summer, the plant produces feathery, plumelike flower spikes that can reach up to 12 feet in height.
