Fraxinus greggii, commonly known as Little Leaf or Gregg Ash, is a deciduous tree native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is a small to medium-sized tree, typically growing between 15 to 30 feet tall. The leaves are small, pinnately compound, and deep green. In the spring, it produces inconspicuous flowers that are followed by small, winged fruits called samaras. Little Leaf/Gregg Ash is a great choice for small gardens or urban landscapes.
