Helianthus angustofolius, commonly known as Swamp Sunflower, is a tall, perennial plant native to the Southeastern United States. It features large, yellow daisy-like flowers that bloom in late summer to early fall. The plant has narrow, lance-shaped leaves with toothed edges, and it forms dense clumps in wetland areas such as swamps and marshes. It is an excellent choice for adding a splash of bright color to moist garden areas and provides valuable nectar for butterflies and bees.
