The Woodland Sunflower, Helianthus divaricatus, is a perennial plant native to North America. It produces bright yellow, daisy-like flowers with dark centers that bloom from late summer to early fall. The plant has a clumping habit with long, slender stems that can reach a height of up to 4 feet. The leaves are lance-shaped and alternate along the stems.
