Herniaria glabra 'Sea Foam' (Green Carpet Rupturewort)

Herniaria glabra 'Sea Foam', commonly known as Green Carpet or Rupturewort, is a low-growing perennial groundcover plant. It forms a dense mat of small, round, bright green leaves that resemble foam, hence the cultivar name 'Sea Foam'. This plant is ideal for filling in gaps in rock gardens, between stepping stones, or as a lawn replacement. It produces inconspicuous green flowers in the summer. The height of Herniaria glabra 'Sea Foam' is typically less than 1 inch, and it can spread up to 18 inches wide.
