Hibiscus mutabilis 'Rosea Plena' (Confederate Rose)

The Hibiscus mutabilis 'Rosea Plena', commonly known as Confederate Rose, is a deciduous shrub known for its large, showy flowers. The double blooms start as white in the morning, change to pink in the afternoon, and finally deepen to a dark red by evening. This color-changing characteristic gives the plant its name. The Confederate Rose grows up to 12 feet tall and spreads about 6 feet wide.
