Ipomoea pes-caprae, commonly known as the Railroad Vine or Goat's Foot, is a low-growing perennial plant with thick, sprawling vines. Its leaves are rounded and fleshy, resembling a hoofprint, hence its common name. The plant produces showy, purple-pink flowers that resemble morning glories. It is a salt-tolerant plant found in coastal regions and sandy beaches.
