Iris verna (Dwarf Iris)

Iris verna, also known as the Dwarf Iris, is a small herbaceous perennial plant native to the eastern United States. It produces delicate, pale blue to purple flowers with short, narrow petals. The flowers have a slight fragrance and appear in early spring, creating a beautiful display. The plant grows to a height of about 4-8 inches and forms dense clumps. It prefers moist, well-drained soil in partial shade.
