Iva hayesiana, commonly known as Hayes' marsh elder, is a perennial plant native to the coastal areas of California and Baja California. It is a shrub that can reach up to 6 feet in height and has a spreading habit. The leaves are green and densely hairy, giving the plant a fuzzy appearance. Small yellow flowers bloom in late summer and early fall.
