Juglans ailantifolia (Japanese walnut)
Juglans ailantifolia, commonly known as Japanese walnut, is a large deciduous tree native to Japan and eastern China. It has a spreading, open growth habit and can reach heights of up to 80 feet. The leaves are compound, with 11-17 leaflets, and turn a beautiful golden yellow in the fall. The tree produces edible nuts in a round husk.
