Juglans californica (California Walnut)

Juglans californica, commonly known as the California Walnut, is a deciduous tree native to California. It is a medium-sized tree that can reach heights of up to 50 feet. The tree has a round canopy and dark green, compound leaves that turn golden in the fall. Californian Walnuts produce edible nuts that are encased in a hard shell.
