Juniperus occidentalis (Western/Sierra Juniper)

Juniperus occidentalis, commonly known as Western or Sierra Juniper, is a coniferous evergreen tree native to western North America. It has a distinctive gnarled and twisted trunk, with blue-green scale-like leaves and small berry-like cones. This slow-growing tree can reach a height of 50-70 feet and a spread of 10-20 feet.
