Koeleria cristata (Prairie June Grass)
Koeleria cristata, commonly known as Prairie June Grass, is a cool-season perennial grass native to the prairies of North America. It forms dense clumps of narrow, upright foliage that turns a beautiful golden color in the fall. In early summer, it produces delicate, feathery flower spikes that rise above the foliage, adding a soft texture to the landscape. This grass is drought tolerant and adapts well to a wide range of soil conditions.
