Liatris pycnostachya, commonly known as Prairie Blazingstar, is a stunning wildflower native to the prairies of North America. It features tall spikes of vibrant purple flowers that bloom in late summer, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The plant has narrow, grass-like leaves that grow in a basal rosette and gradually decrease in size along the stem.
