Lithocarpus/Pasania edulis (Japanese Tanbark/False Oak)

The Lithocarpus edulis, also known as Japanese Tanbark or False Oak, is a species of evergreen tree native to East Asia. It has large, leathery leaves that resemble those of an oak tree. The tree produces edible acorns that are a popular food source in its native region. This tree can grow up to 50-80 feet in height and 30-40 feet in width.
