Myrica californica (Pacific Waxmyrtle)
Myrica californica, also known as Pacific Waxmyrtle, is an evergreen shrub native to the Pacific coast of North America. It grows up to 25 feet tall and has dense, glossy green leaves. The plant produces small, inconspicuous flowers followed by small, waxy blue-gray berries that are attractive to birds. It is commonly used in coastal gardens and provides good windbreak and erosion control.
