Panicum virgatum 'Cheyenne Sky' (Red Switch Grass)

Panicum virgatum 'Cheyenne Sky', also known as Red Switch Grass, is a compact perennial grass that adds vibrant color to the landscape. It features upright blades that emerge blue-green in spring and gradually turn dark red as summer progresses. In late summer to early fall, the foliage is topped with pinkish-red plumes, adding a fluffy texture to the plant. This grass provides excellent winter interest, as the leaves turn rusty orange in fall and persist into winter.
