Penstemon calycosus (Calico Foxglove/Beardtongue)

Penstemon calycosus, commonly known as Calico Foxglove or Beardtongue, is a perennial plant in the family Plantaginaceae. It features tall spikes of tubular, pink to purple flowers with white throats, and it can reach a height of about 2-3 feet. The plant prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is native to the central and southeastern United States and attracts pollinators such as hummingbirds and bees.
