Phlox pilosa (Prairie Phlox)
Phlox pilosa, commonly known as Prairie Phlox, is a native perennial wildflower that blooms in late spring to early summer. It features clusters of fragrant, pink or lavender flowers with five rounded petals. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, making it a great addition to pollinator gardens. Prairie Phlox grows to a height of 12 to 18 inches and spreads up to 12 inches. It prefers full sun or light shade and well-drained soil.
