Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Harbin' (Harbin Bamboo)

Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Harbin' is a dense clump-forming bamboo with golden culms that have a distinctive green sulcus. This variety is a non-invasive, cold-hardy bamboo that thrives in zones 5a and above. It grows best in full sun to partial shade and is known for its fast growth rate and ability to provide an excellent privacy screen. The Harbin Bamboo reaches a mature height of about 18 feet and has a width of approximately 1.5 inches.
